NEOVYK

Evolving The Web App

The web app keeps evolving with a fresh wave of improvements. Most of these updates focus on navigation, clarity and expanding the ecosystem in ways that feel natural to how I work. A few subtle aesthetic touches, a few structural changes and some new tools that open the door to the future.

- "What's Next" connected to the Event Calendar:

The upcoming events for the next three months now appear directly in the HOME "What's Next" feed. The calendar itself received a minor visual refresh to keep everything consistent and cleaner across both pages.

- Audio Entries added to the BLOG:

The BLOG can now host audio. The first step toward a more flexible format. It might evolve into studio snippets, spoken reflections or something closer to a micro-podcast. Too early to define, but the medium is there.

- DISCOG in Grid View:

There's now a grid layout focused on artworks. A simple addition, but it highlights the visual side of the project and pairs nicely with the traditional List View.

- Action Bar on Release Pages:

Each Release Page now features a compact action bar: an immediate play button and direct access to the VAULT for downloads. Cleaner hierarchy, quicker interactions.

- New "Collab View" on the World Map:

The map can now display collaborations by location. A visual record of the artists I've worked with around the world. A small but meaningful feature tied to a long-term goal of collaborating across all different continents.

- Hidden "Metrics" page inside DATA:

A deeper, internal version of the DATA page. Year-to-year comparisons, detailed stats and a "Predict" algorithm that estimates my output across the 49-year arc of the NEOVYK project. Very niche, but very useful.

- Quiz Game refreshed:

New questions added, older ones refined, visuals sharpened and the scoring system rebalanced. Small changes, but they make the game feel far more consistent and polished.

- Projects added to the VAULT:

Demos and experiments that lived elsewhere are now archived inside the app. One space, full control, no dependency on external platforms.

- PRISM updated with more intelligence:

Not a new personality, but more awareness. 2x the number of custom messages, new quiz tips and generally a stronger presence across the app.

- PRISM "Keys" with a new Scale Finder:

A small built-in tool. You enter the notes you're using and it returns the possible scales. Useful for quick key confirmation during production.

- PRISM "Motif", 8-bar melody generator (beta):

An experimental tool that generates melodic ideas based on a chosen scale and rhythmic type. It can output a topline, harmony and bassline. Still early, but full of potential.

- User Studio & Remix Submissions:

A space for users to submit their remixes directly through the app, using the stems available in the VAULT system. The intention is to establish a small, intimate circle of producers.

- General improvements:

A cleaner full-screen message system, better offline experience and unified visuals across the app.
